So, I want to share something very important with you, that hopefully will set you on the right track. No idea if this approach is gonna work though I mean I have seen an improvement in my math skills since the start of this all, and it’s very possible to make considerable improvements in a short amount of time, so here’s hoping the last 6 weeks of grinding will be good to me :) Since my test is now in 6 weeks, I’ve been trying to get in at least 2 hours of quant practice problems at least 6 days per week, and scattering my verbal practice throughout the day (like during my breaks at work-from-home) since verbal is my strength & I personally don’t think it requires as concentrated as an effort. I have also reached out to my old first-year statistics tutor asking him for help with understanding some of the basic concepts that I struggle with, such as exponents and roots. Over time I’ve gradually increased the amount of practice I’ve been doing. I started watching those months ago, like back in October (granted I anticipated I was going to be writing in April, but I have since rescheduled to June). Magoosh and Gregmat’s quant videos have been really helpful for me in relearning concepts I haven’t touched since high school (the only GRE-testable math I’ve used in university is statistics and basic probability).
